Clifton Supporter

Remember that the happiest people are not those getting more, but those giving more

At the Clifton ministries we are blessed to have so many giving volunteers! This week we had Chris Calia come by and feed our guests. Chris has been a long time volunteer and giving spirit. He has been coming by the Clifton for over 10 years. You can tell how happy he is volunteering and cooking supper for our guests.

Not only does Chris give his time at Clifton Sanctuary he has been instrumental in starting a the Ecovillage school in Haiti. You can find our more about the school at https://www.haitiecovillageschool.org. The EcoVillage school opened the first classrooms in the fall of 2014.  Today it serves 290 students from the 6 EcoVillages and surrounding rural area, teaching preschool through 7th grade.  A new grade is added each year as classrooms are built. When this phase is completed, it will meet the standards to qualify as a “fundamental school,” with 9 classrooms: Preschool through 8th grade.

You don't have to cook a supper or start a school to be a volunteer. You can come out and do yard work there are plenty of small projects at the shelter. Please contact us and share your talents with us. You can make a difference in a person's life.
